Phibrows is a modern semi-permanent eyebrow microblading technique, developed and registered by the Phi Academy and Mr. Branko Babic. This method enhances the shape of the eyebrows using fine, hair-like strokes of pigment. All tools, materials, and pigments used are fully standardised, single-use, and hygienic.
What Is the Phibrows Semi-Permanent Makeup Technique?
Phibrows is a European brand that specialises in semi-permanent eyebrow makeup, also known as microblading. This technique is used to shape and define the eyebrows using fine, hair-like strokes applied with a sterilised blade or needle. The pigments used in Phibrows are organic and free from metal oxides and iron, which means the colour never turns red over time and does not leave a permanent tattoo-like effect.
The results of this technique typically last about one year or slightly longer, depending on skin type. A touch-up session can be done to maintain the desired look.
This method is ideal for individuals with sparse or uneven eyebrows, offering a natural-looking enhancement without the need for daily makeup or invasive procedures. Regular eyebrow makeup can sometimes contribute to hair loss, while Phibrows reduces the need for constant application and helps preserve eyebrow health.
Thanks to the advanced needle technology and the precise training of Phibrows Artists, pigment implantation is done without damaging the natural eyebrow hair. The procedure can even stimulate hair follicles and promote eyebrow growth.
After the treatment, the eyebrows appear darker for the first three days, followed by a natural peeling process where the colour lightens. Around 14 to 28 days post-treatment, the final colour becomes visible as it settles into the dermal layer of the skin. A touch-up session between 30 to 60 days after the initial treatment is recommended to perfect the results and achieve the ideal look.
